꩜ What are your products made of?
I use a variety of materials, depending on the product. I use aluminum jumprings for my chainmail pieces, but can use stainless steel upon request for customs. Stainless steel is more expensive and the custom price will be adjusted accordingly. I utilize repurposed beads and trinkets, such as thrifted pendants & watch faces. I also use ethically sourced bones in some of my pieces. The bones are often from roadkill that I clean and process myself. On my soldered pieces, I use lead-free solder so that it is safe for skin.
꩜ Why aluminum?
I use aluminum jumprings to make my chainmail pieces because of its affordability, weight, durability, and bright shine. Aluminum is considered hypoallergenic and doesn't tarnish or oxidize unlike some other metals. If you are concerned about a metal allergy, I can use stainless steel for a custom upon request, but as the metal is heavier and more expensive, the cost of the custom and price of shipping may increase.

Commission pricing is completely dependant on what item I am making for you and materials I'm using such as aluminum or stainless steel.
꩜ Where do you ship to?
I currently only ship within the United States because of shipping costs.
꩜ How long does it take before an item is shipped?
I typically ship out items within 1-2 days, excluding weekends and holidays. If there is a delay in shipping for any reason, I will make sure to communicate that.
꩜ What is your damage policy?
~ I can fix most necklaces, waist chains, or chainmail pieces purchased from forestfaelien for free, provided that you have most of the original beads and chains and that you cover the cost of shipping. My pieces are meant to be durable and each item undergoes stress tests before I send them out to you but they are handmade and are still breakable. It is also important to avoid swimming or strenuous activities while wearing my jewelry and accessories.
~ If a product is damaged in shipping, I am happy to accept returns and refunds or offer a repair on the item but shipping fees still apply.
꩜ Do you accept returns?
I only accept returns and refunds if an item is damaged in shipping. I may also accept a return if an item does not fit. However, the measurements of my necklaces and tops are listed in the descriptions of each product. I am happy to make size alterations and add chain to extend the length of any necklace but this should be communicated prior to shipping. I check my direct messages and emails daily. Please make sure the desired measurements are accurate and communicated. Customer must pay shipping costs.
Otherwise, I do not accept returns or refunds.
